In front of Glorious Bald Rock Mountain lies 55 acre Fairfield Lake. Experience the entire
lake along the surrounding
hiking trail. There is a sandy beach for sunning and swimming, two docks, a boat house and
boat rental with
good fishing, too. The resort has a bonfire here, at dusk many nights a week during
season, and the Charleston Symphony
Orchestra plays to fireworks on the 4th of July weekend with Bald Rock as the back drop at
